SocialSave is an iOS app for saving social links into your own library. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can delete it.

Information we collect
You can save links on your device. SocialSave does not require an account.
Saved links, titles, notes, categories, and related metadata stay on your device.
Thumbnails may be cached on the device. We do not collect name, email, or sign-in data, and we do not sell this information.
How we use information
We use this information only to operate SocialSave on your device.
We do not use your data for advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.

Saved links stay on your device.

Link previews, reminders and widget
To show a title and picture for a saved link, the app requests that link directly from its website (for example Instagram or YouTube). That website sees a normal request from your device, as it would in a browser. SocialSave does not route these requests through our servers.
Weekly reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. The home screen widget reads a small copy of your library stored on the device.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention and deletion
Saved posts stay on the device until you delete them or uninstall the app.

Children
SocialSave is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page will change when we do.
